Honoring the 173rd Airborne Brigade Separate, which made the first airborne assault of the Vietnam War, “The Sky Soldier” was created in one-half life-size scale. Two of these monuments stand in places of honor at Fort Benning, Georgia and in the Veterans Services Building in St. Paul, Minnesota.
