“The Eden Prairie Veterans Memorial” is located, fittingly, in Purgatory Park, Eden Prairie, Minnesota. It honors veterans of all wars, with Meaningful quotations and the names of the fallen engraved in the stone walls in and around the memorial. The sculptural elements include a “Military Field Cross” on one of the walls near the entrance, and three life-size scale figures.  A medic carries a wounded pilot to safety, while in the background a military nurse stands with her hand on an open globe, representing “world peace.”
