Dedicated in May of 1982, “The Monument To The Living” is located on the grounds of the Veterans Services Building in St. Paul, Minnesota. Facing the State Capital Building, the lone soldier asks “Why do you forget us?” The twelve foot tall welded steel sculpture was one of the first Vietnam War monuments and pays tribute to the returning veteran. There is miniature version of the Monument to the Living available.
